Community Involvement

Ben is on the Board of Directors for Kate's Club, a bereavement organization that helps children face life after losing a parent or sibling. It's a cause that is near and dear to Ben's heart because he lost his father when he was just five years old. Since 2003, Kate's Club has been creating healing communities that allow grieving children and their families to have fun, express their emotions, remember their loved ones, develop healthy coping skills, and know that they are not alone.

They are the only organization in Metro Atlanta that provides long-term therapeutic and recreational support for grieving children. They offer a variety of programs such as Clubhouse Saturday and Sunday Programs, quarterly Club Outings, Camp Good Mourning, and KC Connects programs in schools and partner organizations.
